How the Warzone Resurgence Series Championship format works

For the group stage, 32 teams of 3 players are split into 2 groups. Each group plays 12 Resurgence matches, where trios are ranked by their final position and number of eliminations during each match. Resurgence differs from standard battle royale game modes because respawns are enabled provided at least one teammate is alive.

The top 5 trios from each group advance directly to the finals. Meanwhile, the trios in 6th-13th place must compete in the Survival stage.

In the survival stage, 16 trios compete across 10 matches. Each trio is ranked by their final position and number of kills. The top 6 trios advance to the finals.

The finals use a match point format, which means trios must reach a set amount of points to achieve match point status. The first team with match point status to win a match will be declared 2026 Resurgence Series Champions. The final standings for the remaining trios are determined through points.
